Haa Dhaalu Atoll is a small and far atoll located at about 320 kms North of Male airport. Haa Dhaalu Atoll can be reached after a 45 mns seaplane flight or a 50 mns domestic flight to Hanimadhoo domestic Airport followed by approximately 20 mns by a speedboat ride.

About Shaviyani Atoll
Shaviyani atoll is a small and far atoll located at about 270 kms North of Male airport and belongs to a larger group of Atolls called Miladhunmadulu Uthuruburi. Shaviyani Atoll does not have many resorts and can be reached after a 55 mns seaplane transfer or via domestic flights to Hanimaadhoo Airport in 40 mns followed by speedboat.
About Noonu Atoll
Noonu Atoll is a fairly large atoll offering many desert islands and a few resorts, located at about 180 kms North of Male airport. Noonu Atoll belongs to a larger Atoll called Miladhunmadulu. Noonu can be directly reached after a 45 mns flight by seaplane or in 40 mns with a domestic flight to its airport Maafaru.
About Raa Atoll
Raa Atoll is a large atoll located at about 160 kms North of Male airport. Raa Atoll belongs to a larger Atoll called Maalhosmadulu which also hosts the famous Baa Atoll. Raa can be directly reached from Male Airport after a 40 mns flight by seaplane or 40 mns by direct domestic flight or in 130 mns with a domestic flight to its airport Ifuru with a stop at Maafaru Airport in Noonu Atoll.
About Baa Atoll
Baa Atoll is one of Maldives most known Atoll for its UNESCO Biosphere. Large and beautiful, Baa Atoll is also known for having perfectly shaped rounded islands. Fairly large, Baa Atoll is located at about 120 kms North of Male airport. Baa Atoll belongs to a larger Atoll called Maalhosmadulu which also hosts Raa Atoll. Baa can be directly reached after a 35 mns flight by seaplane or 20 mns by direct domestic flight from Male Airport.
About Lhaviyani Atoll
Lhaviyani Atoll is a fairly large atoll located at about 130 kms North of Male airport. Lhaviyani Atoll can be reached after a 40 mns seaplane flight. Domestic flights to Lhaviyani Atoll are announced to open in 2020 with the construction of a new domestic airport called Madivaru Airport.
About Rasdhoo Atoll
Rasdhoo Atoll is a tiny atoll, one of the smallest of Maldives with 5 islands only. Rasdhoo belong to a group of a much larger atoll, one of the largest in Maldives, Ari Atoll. Rasdhoo Atoll has only 2 Resorts : Kuramathi and Veligandu. Rasdhoo Atoll is reachable by speedboat in 90 mns or by seaplane in 15 mns.

North Male Atoll is the Maldives most important Atoll with its capital Island Male and its international Airport Velana, located at its heart. Hub of Maldives economy, political and social life, North Male Atoll, also called North Kaafu Atoll, was the first atoll to open to tourists in 1972 with Kurumba Resort. The atoll is today home of the largest concentration of resorts in the Maldives. North Male Atoll is the northern atoll of a larger group of 2 atolls ( the other one being South Male Atoll ), also called Kaafu Atoll.
About South Male Atoll
South Male Atoll is located in Kaafu Atoll. South Male Atoll is the second busiest atoll after North Male in term of resorts. The northern tip of South Male Atoll is reachable by speedboat in 15 mns or by seaplane in 5 mns. Its southern tip is reachable in 35 mns by speedboat and 15 mns by seaplane.
About North Ari Atoll
North Ari Atoll is part of a group of 2 Atolls united in one single huge atoll called Ari. The all atoll is known for the excellency and variety of its diving spots. Its relatively close location to Male allows easy access by speedboat in approximately 90mns or 30 mns by seaplane.
About South Ari Atoll
South Ari Atoll, also called Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, is the southern and second part of the large Ari Atoll. South Ari offers many resorts and amazing diving sites like North Ari. South Ari Atoll can be directly reached after a 25 mns flight by seaplane or in 30 mns with a domestic flight to its airport Maamigili.
About Vaavu Atoll
Vaavu Atoll is one of the latest atoll that opened to tourists with 3 resorts currently operating and one of the least populated Atoll of Maldives. Vaavu Atoll is located at 80 kms from Male and directly reachable in approximately 80 mns by speedboat, 4 hours by ferry or 25 mns by seaplane.

Dhaalu Atoll is today home of many resorts. Also called Southern Nilandhe Atoll, Dhaalu Atoll has seen several new resort developments the past 3 years. Famous for its powdery sandbanks and long beaches, Dhaalu Atoll is directly reachable by domestic flight in 40 mns to its airport Dhaalu Airport or in 35 mns by seaplane.

Due to the beauty of its landscapes, Laamu Atoll was the place chosen to be the Scarif Planet in the movie Star Wars Rogue One. Laamu Atoll is directly reachable by domestic flight in 35 mns from Male to its airport Kadhdhoo.
