The Island Dream : Six Senses Laamu is secluded in a undisturbed nature and surrounded by a gorgeous blue lagoon a long close-by rich house reef.
Six Senses Laamu is a stunning and unique Resort in a unique Atoll and stands as one of the most beautiful Hotel we’ve seen in the Maldives.
My Review of the Dreamy Laamu Water Villa
+ What I Love About The Resort
Six Senses Laamu is an eco-friendly luxury Resort located in Laamu Atoll, south Maldives.
The resort is reachable after a 45 minute flight with Maldivian Airways to the Atoll Domestic Airport of Kadhdhoo followed by 20 minutes speed boat ride. Up until today, it is the only running Resort of the Atoll.
Secluded in a undisturbed nature and surrounded by a stunning lagoon on one side and a long close-by and rich house reef on the other side, the spectacular resort offers spacious Beach Villas close to fine white sandy beaches and some of the most beautiful Water Villas in Maldives.
On the water villa side, the island is surrounded by a stunning blue lagoon which is a paradise for watersports
On the south side, close to overwater bar area, a long and rich house reef extends all the way until the resort sandbank offering an excellent snorkeling discovery.
The medium sized lush island also offers a fabulous and unique sandbank at a very nearby distance, reachable meanwhile you snorkel. Beyond its beauty, this sandbank is also a paradise for kitesurf.
Besides its wonderful snorkeling and kitesurf assets, Six Senses Laamu is famous for being located right in front of Yin-Yang Surf break, one Maldives best surfing spot.
For Spa lovers and Holistic Treatments, Six Senses Laamu will be probably one of the most exquisite choice in Maldives.
Awarded as Best Spa Design of the year with its Spa rooms / nests hidden in the vegetation with views on the blue lagoon, the Spa, managed by World renown Six Senses Spas, proposes a dreamy list of treatments from self pampering to complete Holistic therapies including Ayurveda retreats.

Located further along the jetties with Sunset or Sunrise views, the Laamu Water Villas benefit from the best location for ultimate privacy.
Similarly designed as the other water villas, these stylish Water Villas feature a panoramic rooftop deck with a lounge area, ideal for stargazing and to enjoy the uninterrupted ocean views offered by their remote location.

Constructed of sustainable materials, all villas have been carefully designed to complement nature. Eco Friendly materials are used everywhere, from the flooring to the roofing and blend a rustic tropical chic style with splashes colors spread on various areas.
On the Inside : bamboo, jute, organic cotton, recycled and timber wood sliding doors opening onto the blue.
On the outside, you will find a wooden deck made of clear wood offering an extraordinary view at the ocean.
