The resort is part of an integrated development, Fari Islands, a group of man made islands currently in development in the north of North Male Atoll.
Patina Maldives is located on the newly set of Islands called Fari Islands, in North Male Atoll, at a 45-minutes speedboat transfer from the airport.
Designed by Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan from Studio MK27, the upcoming resort promises to be “a sophisticated haven for devout epicurean and to honour the individuality of each guest.”
Patina Maldives will provide a welcoming space for people to live light, to unleash creativity, amplify natural feelings in a dreamy state.

The resort offers a sleek design, serene private sanctuaries and discreet tech elegantly wrapped in a unique architecture where Art and culture will be warmly embraced with a dedicated center.
Patina Maldives offers 90 one, two- and three-bedroom beach and over water pool villas plus 20 Fari Studios, an expansive array of enticing food & beverage options, 2 pools, a spa, yoga pavilion and a gym, an art gallery and exciting retail stores, an outdoor cinema and camp fire, a nature discovery centre and water sports centre, a 20-berths marina for private yachts and a world-class beach club.
Patina Maldives Design and Architecture
MK27 designed the resort and villas with the views in mind. The architectural lines blend with the Maldivian landscapes to avoid any visual break with the horizon.
All villas boast floor-to-ceiling windows to let the light and views fill the living spaces.
Lights and Shadows
Marcio Kogan explains that the resort was conceived to erase any traces of human gestures to let the island surroundings ornate the hotel.
After arriving, the traveler is invited to take the natural trails to reach his villa. On the left there are the main building and most of the villas. To the right, there’s the spa and the common spaces of the village and beach club.
The landscape surrounding the living spaces creates privacy for the villas and unfolds to highlight the most important common buildings, establishing a hierarchy of focuses to the different constructions.

The resort boasts a total of 90 luxury Beach and Water Villas with one and two Bedroom and 2 stunning ultra Luxury Beach Houses for larger groups or travelers looking for ultimate privacy and services.
Each of the 90 well-appointed villas offers a private pool, luxury amenities and spacious living spaces entirely open on the outside.

The Bars & Restaurants
Patina Maldives boasts a Beach Club and a multitude of dining options, from hearty Asian fare to Greek cuisine and Nordic Japanese fusion restaurant. A plant-based concept cuisine will compliment the culinary experience.
The Spa
The SPA is an “island within the island” where the outside enters the spaces from all sides. The massage rooms can be floating boxes or inside the building, but still enjoying nice framed views of the surroundings.
The stunning wellness space includes a watsu pool for passive aquatic therapy, high and low impact workout classes, the services of highly trained consultants such as a posture expert and a sleep therapist, biohacking, and the usage of curative and preventative remedies to achieve a calm mind and to restore balance.
Leisure and Activities
All resorts at Fari Islands are built around a vibrant Beach Club offering a communal lifestyle space with chic boutiques, an art center and trendy restaurants. Patina will also welcome kids with a children’s educational activity centre.
