Alila Kothaifaru is Hyatt’s second resort in Maldives

Set on a beautiful island surrounded by an excellent house reef for snorkeling, Alila Kothaifaru Maldives, initially scheduled for opening mid April 2022, finally received its first guests this last May 16th.
Kothaifaru is Alila’s second resort in the Maldives. The hotel brand, well known for its modern design and zen concept previously had Alila Hadahaa Maldives, now Park Hyatt Hadahaa, in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, in the south of the archipelago.

Hyatt new resort in the Maldives is a private island retreat located in the picturesque Raa Atoll at the northern edge of the Maldives. A Soft opening

Alila announces on its website that the resort is open with Beach Villas and guests may enjoy a wide array of dining and recreational services. Finishing works are in progress in limited areas and are slated to be completed by June 30, 2022;

Alila Kothaifaru remains in the spirit and design of the brand with an elegant minimalist architecture with clear lines created by Singapore-based Studiogoto.

Its design encompasses terraced pavilions, villas and a treetop spa that are carefully integrated into the existing landscape to immerse guests in the picturesque natural surroundings.

Housed on a 27.6 acre (11.2 hectare) island, Alila Kothaifaru Maldives can be reached via a 45-minute seaplane journey from Malé.
