Kanuhura was honored by the title of Best 5 Star Hotel in Maldives during the 2011 International Property Awards Ceremony held at the Longemont Hotel in Shanghai on 31st of May 2011, within a selection of the best hotels in the world. Kanuhura won recognition due to it’s continues deliver of excellence and unique Hotel concept.
The Asia Pacific Hotel Awards 2011 is part of International Property Awards which was first presented in 1995.
The renown ceremony is managed in association with Bloomberg Television, Google and International Herald Tribune.
Rightly proud of its success, Kanuhura a member of the Leading Hotels of the world (managed by Sun Resorts) is delighted to announce that it has won an award in the category of “Best 5 Star Hotel in Maldives”.

The Judging Panel
The panel of judges for 2011 was chaired by Anthony Murket distinguished hotelier and major contributor to the Hospitality Industry with consultancies to many other hotels around the country).
