Four Seasons Resort Maldives presents its new private seaplane and it looks so dreamy ! Called The Flying Triggerfish, the aircraft is inspired by the fish of the same name which populate Maldives waters. The seaplane, a DHC-6-300 Twin Otter, has been entirely customized to resemble the colorful fish.

Four Seasons’ Flying Triggerfish, a customised DHC-6-300 Twin Otter airplane, is now available to guests visiting the popular holiday and honeymoon destination of Maldives in the Indian Ocean.

the seaplane is customized inside and out to look like a triggerfish
Inspired by the colourful Picasso triggerfish found in Maldivian waters, the private plane is completely customised inside and out, from a luxuriously refurbished floor, ceiling and sidewalls to an enhanced Garmin 950NXi avionics suite. The seaplane is owned by Four Seasons and is dedicated for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts passengers.
Transfers to Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru
Flying Triggerfish transfers are available to book per person per way or as private customised charters for up to 8 people. Private charters include CIP services. Island-hopping excursions and seaplane safaris are also available.
The Flying Triggerfish is one of two seaplane transfer options available to guests of Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru, a 35-minute flight from Malé International Airport. In addition to the Flying Triggerfish, the resort utilises the services of Trans Maldivian Airways’ 14-seat seaplanes.
The Flying Triggerfish is Trans Maldivian Airways latest addition to its seaplane fleet, which totalizes now 52 aircrafts. TMA will be operating and maintaining the aircraft on behalf of the luxury resort.
The seaplane was ferried from Switzerland to the Maldives. With this new addition, TMA has further strengthened its position as the World’s Largest Seaplane Operator.
